Our Honeymoon Plan...
“I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.” - Laura Ingalls Wilder
Ant and I have actually done some research on honeymoon destinations. It is hard to decide which honeymoon destination we want to go because there are so many. At first we wanted Mauritius or Maldives. My friends were surprised that we wanted these places because I am not much of a beach person. In fact, I am surprised myself.
Ant and I re-analyzed our plan. We asked ourselves what we wanted to see most. We came out with Europe. I believe Europe is everyone’s dream. I love Europe. It is so old, ancient and so romantic. I like this type of homey, homey type of destinations.
We browsed around for tour agents and we were not satisfied with our research. Then my friend who has been to Europe through Cosmos Tours, suggested that I look into Cosmos Tours. She told me there are many differences traveling with fellow Malaysians and traveling with foreigners.
She said foreigners tend to be more courteous. They let us take the food first. They let you queue up first and they are very willing to accommodate honeymooners. I was so ecstatic and started my research on Cosmos Tours. Cosmos Tours is actually under Globus Group of Companies. Globus Tours are very expensive, first class tours. Ant and I think that we do not need everything first class. So we decided to go for a medium range tour which is Cosmos Tours.
We were advised not to go to the whole Europe. There are some packages actually offered 8 countries in Europe for 10 days. My god! How to squeeze 8 countries in 10 days??? My friend actually went to that kinda trip and she regretted because she cannot even remember anything. She said every place she went was like a breeze. So she advised me to choose only one European country.
Something Ant said is very, very true. Imagine if we travel around Asia, countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, etc etc… can we do it in like 10 days time? We both answered NO!
So, Ant and I decided on only ITALY! Why Italy? I feel Italy is very romantic place. There are so many landmarks around. So antique and old. It oozes charm!!! Gosh, I can’t wait to honeymoon. I do hope I will get pregnant in Italy and NO! I won’t name my baby Italy if it is made in Italy. *laugh out loud*
We have to buy air tickets and then meet our agents there at Italy. Return air ticket costs about RM2k per person. From there, we will be introduced to each of our traveling companions consists of people from all over the world. It is exciting isn’t it? *giggles*
Cosmos Tours actually offered 3 different packages to Italy that Ant and I like.
